Trade Union Committee of the Institute

The Trade Union Organization represents the interests of the staff of the Institute of General Energy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and protects their labor, social, and economic rights. Its activities are focused on providing social, legal, and financial support to trade union members. Representatives from all structural subdivisions of the Institute are delegated to the Trade Union Committee. The priority tasks of the Committee include continuous cooperation with the Institute’s administration to ensure compliance with the current legislation of Ukraine on employment and remuneration, resolve labor disputes, exercise public oversight over compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, and create safe and healthy working conditions. All these matters are regulated by the Collective Agreement concluded between the Institute’s administration and the staff, with the Trade Union Organization monitoring the implementation of its provisions. Essential tasks of the Trade Union also include uniting the collective and fostering an atmosphere of mutual assistance, tolerance, and creative cooperation. One of the key areas of the Trade Union Organization’s activity is volunteering. Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, volunteering efforts have been primarily focused on supporting the defenders of Ukraine. The Trade Union Organization is continuously evolving, keeping pace with the times, and seeking new forms of organization and ways to improve its activities in order to protect the rights and interests of the staff.
