We combine systems analysis, advanced mathematical modeling, and forecasting to effectively integrate emerging technologies and enhance the environmental and economic performance of the energy sector.
Department No. 2 Transformation of the Fuel and Energy Complex Structure
Main Research Tasks:
Research on innovative pathways for the fuel and energy complex (FEC) structure transformation under low-carbon economic development;
Development of theoretical foundations, methods, mathematical models, and advanced tools for forecasting the operation and structural transformation of the FEC and its sectoral subsystems;
Formulating pathways for system-aligned enhancement of energy, economic, and environmental efficiency, as well as operational productivity of the FEC;
Systems analysis of the potential for implementing emerging energy conversion technologies and their integration into the sectoral subsystems of the FEC.
